WEARY OF WORDS
As I sit with my coffee at the beginning of a new day, I am thinking of some words I am tired of hearing. I realize this could be just me, but your spirit may resonate with mine as you read.
Here are the words I feel are being tossed around like pieces of candy until they are becoming meaningless :
BREAKTHROUGH
PURPOSE and
DESTINY.
Maybe it’s because every speaker in this 21st Century seems to be claiming to have the keys to these three doors with books & online resources to accompany them. They may be well meaning, but hearing these words everywhere I turn is making me tired.
This morning, with my coffee in my hand,
this is the cry of my heart: 
Holy Spirit come.
Let your WORD come alive in me TODAY.
Refresh me in YOUR PRESENCE.
I want to KNOW JESUS MORE TODAY.
I want to LOVE HIM MORE TODAY.
I want to HEAR HIM MORE CLEARLY TODAY
I want to DO WHAT HE IS SAYING, BEGINNING RIGHT HERE IN MY HOME, …TODAY
I know what my schedule for TODAY says…but my TIMES ARE IN YOUR HANDS.
LOVE ON ME…TODAY. ENABLE ME TO LOVE YOU MORE THROUGHOUT THIS DAY.
Allow me to be part of your SUPERNATURAL WAYS as I walk in YOUR AUTHORITY….TODAY.
I AM EXCITED TO WATCH YOU SHOW OFF…TODAY. I am expecting to be ASTOUNDED by WHO YOU ARE…again.
I give you all of me… I WITHHOLD NOTHING…TODAY.
SO… BREAKTHROUGH, PURPOSE and DESTINY, I will see you & understand you FULLY…BUT IT WILL BE IN MY REARVIEW MIRROR.
