” RA’AH ET”
Sometimes you just need to cry OUT LOUD.
We are living through something we have never seen before. We are making sure our gloves and masks are on and Sanitizer is in our pocket with the grocery list. We are keeping our distance from each other knowing we could be fined or imprisoned if we don’t. We know we will stand in line outside the store for a very long time unsure they will have what we need on the shelf. You want to SCREAM…but it is not socially acceptable.
From my heart : People I love are sick. My paycheck is shrinking.
The pictures on the News crush my heart. Eyes over the masks are filled with fear.
No one knows when this will STOP.
I want to CRY OUT from the depths of my being…but what do I say ??
A young woman who I love as a daughter just happens to be one of the great song writers and vocalists of our time. I really thought I was helping her with a song she is ” birthing “, but it was ME who needed the help. I learned what to cry.
” RA’AH ET ! RA’AH ET! RA’AH ET!”
It’s Hebrew, and it’s pronounced ” RAW AW ET” It’s from 1 Samuel 12:16 :
“NOW THEREFORE STAND AND SEE ( RA’AH ET)
THIS GREAT THING WHICH THE LORD WILL DO BEFORE YOUR EYES “
It means WATCH WHAT GOD WILL DO ! DON’T MISS THIS !
IT WILL HAPPEN RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU ! ” RA’AH ET!”
So let’s try this again .People I love are sick…but RA’AH ET!
My paycheck is shrinking…but RA’AH ET !
The pictures on the news crush my heart…but RA’AH ET!
Eyes over the masks are filled with FEAR… but RA’AH ET!
No one knows when this will stop…but RA’AH ET !
At the time of this writing I am leading a team of nurses who are transferring
Long Term Care clients out of hospital to another facility to free up needed beds.
I need to protect these patients, their loved ones and my team. How can I do this ? RA’AH ET RA’AH ET RA’AH ET
I WILL WATCH WHAT GOD WILL DO ! My eyes are wide open…and when they close I will sleep knowing ALL IS WELL.
I pour from my heart into yours….RA’AH ET.
